Message of support for World Arthritis Day 2010 from the European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR)

Each year EULAR promotes World Arthritis Day on 12 October to help raise the profile of rheumatic diseases amongst policy makers and the public.

Let's Work together 2009 & 2010 
Work is important to all of us be it paid employment, voluntary work or working to support a family. But many people with rheumatic diseases are unable to work because of lack of understanding of their needs, access to appropriate treatments and
to the services that could support them. This is why for the past two years our focus for World Arthritis Day has been on work and rheumatic diseases and why we have developed the EULAR Charter for Work. 

EULAR encourages everyone in the world to take action and raise awareness creatively! Be inspired by the great ideas and campaigns people and organisations have developed and share your events today!
